Next Study
After the recording project is over, we are now going to expand our knowledge by studying music from different areas. We are still working a little bit on the last recording and probably change one or two songs, which are lancaran, into ladrang. Early september, we are going to study music from Central Java. It is an area west side from Jogjakarta approximately three hours away. The music is not that different and it is influenced by Surakarta style. The music mostly in slendro and in lancaran. It will be fun studying!!!
